I enjoy working with people who have “big emotions”. Many of my clients find themselves feeling “too much”, experience mood swings, or are told that they are “too sensitive”. While it can feel difficult at times, having big emotions and feeling deeply isn’t a personal failing or something to be ashamed of – instead, many people benefit from the nurturing their relationship with their “big” emotions in a nonjudgmental space.
Many people who come to therapy with me have previous mental health diagnoses or identify with a particular diagnosis. Most often, these include Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Complex PTSD, Bipolar 2, PMDD, and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).
