THERAPY FOR SEX WORKERS

A red umbrella, symbolizing rights for sex workers

Yes, Sex work is Work…

and sometimes it can be more complicated than that. Sex workers provide stigmatized services, which can have a unique impact on a person’s relationship to work, to their loved ones, and to themselves. Whether you feel empowered and embodied in the work that you do or you have a more complicated relationship with sexual labor, I work to welcome you in without making assumptions about the work that you do.

Over the last decade, I have invested in cultivating a comprehensive knowledge of different forms of erotic labor. I have continued to broaden my understanding of sex work through community, training, independent research, and by listening to sex workers.

Counseling for friends and family of sex workers

In addition to current and former sex workers, I invite people who are in relationship or community with sex workers to my practice. Working with a therapist that is knowledgeable about your loved ones marginalized identity can be hugely impactful – giving you a nonjudgmental and sex worker aligned space to explore and unpack the indirect impacts of sexual labor.
