WORKSHOPS AND SPEAKING

INCLUDING FAT PEOPLE IN THE CONVERSATION

Our collective understanding of fatness in the mental health field and in other helping professions is growing – and yet, many continuing education initiatives don’t include curriculum to address issues facing fat people and fat communities. In response to this need, I began creating and facilitating workshops and trainings on topics related to fatness and anti-fat oppression (also called fatphobia) that can be adapted for beginner level audiences or for audiences that are more well versed in working with fat people.
